About

I am a Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) Ph.D. student at Princeton University, advised by Professor Jürgen Hackl, and part of the Complex Infrastructure Systems group. I am interested in physics-informed artificial intelligence and resilience in infrastructure networks.

Previously, I obtained my Master’s degree in CEE with a subplan in Structural Engineering from Stanford University, where I had the chance to work with Professor Jack W. Baker and be part of the Stanford Urban Resilience Initiative (SURI). Before that, I received my Bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of Peru with the highest honors in my thesis under the supervision of Professor Marcial Blondet.

I am convinced that resilience, however we define it, is intrinsic to every aspect of human interaction and in the potential of AI to deepen our understanding of these interactions. My goal for the next decade is to help build and sustain academia-industry collaborations that enhance decision-making processes within infrastructure systems.
