Other Projects (Technical Reports/Talks)
- Structural Concrete Design with Mine Tailings, advised by Enrique Pasquel (ACI Board of Directors), 2022.
- Rocking Isolation for Low-Cost Housing in Lima, An Initial Approach, advised by Prof. Marcial Blondet, 2021.
Special thanks to all mentors and collaborators who have inspired and supported my work!
Research Interests
Within risk analysis, physics-informed AI methods, and reinforcement learning, I am especially interested in:
Infrastructure network resilience: stochastic methodologies to quantify multi-hazard risks affecting critical infrastructure systems and communities.
AI in Engineering: data-driven AI models for system response prediction, feature identification, design optimization, and post-event assessments.
Network science for infrastructure: Modeling interdependent networks (power, transport, buildings) to better understand cascading failures and to develop effective resilience strategies.
I’m also passionate about open science, public policy, and integrating advanced computational methods into practical engineering workflows.
